Hello from Ghana

We recently received an email from a person who was visiting Ghana as part of a School trip.

Whilst they were there they met a little boy called Nanoai. He is about 8 and lives in a town called Akropong, about an hour north of the capital city called Accra. He doesn’t attend school because he has special needs. From what we gather he does not go to the local school as they cannot easily accommodate children with severe needs. There are some facilities who might take him, but this is costly.

On one day when they saw him, he was wearing a t-shirt with 3rd West Wickham Scouts on the front!
