Swimming Badge – Sat 19th November at Beckenham SPA

A chance for all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers to be examined on any of the Swimmer Staged badges.

When – Saturday 19th November 2022, 16:30 – 20.00

Where – The Spa at Beckenham, 24 Beckenham Road, Beckenham, BR3 4PF

What – Stage 1 16:30 – 17:30 Stage 2 17:15 – 18:15 Stage 3 18.00 – 18.45 Stages 4 & 5 18.45 – 19.15 (you must start no later than 19.15)

PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM UNAIDED – THIS IS NOT A SWIMMING LESSON

This is an opportunity to be tested on the requirements of the Swimmer staged activity badge, we won’t be teaching them. Please ensure you read the badge requirements overleaf carefully before sending your young person to attempt a stage as these badge requirements are different to any other swimming school awards. Participants must be able to complete all the requirements without the use of swimming aids (such as arm bands).

Please note that you will need to bring clothes to wear in the pool for Stage 3, 4 & 5!
