Explorers

Explorer Scouts are usually aged between 14 and 18 years old. It is an exciting time in your life, and we understand that you will sometimes be busy with other commitments such as exams, hobbies, or family life. Being an Explorer Scout is designed to fit around these moments, not compete with them.
As an Explorer Scout, you will have the chance to work with young people from across your entire District, not just your own Unit. This means you will be able to take part in a much wider range of activities, events, and adventures than any single Unit could offer on its own. From large-scale camps to specialist skills sessions, District events open the door to even more opportunities to challenge yourself, make friends, and have fun.

Parent’s Guides to Scouting

The Parent’s Guides are designed to give parents a brief introduction to the section, explain the types of activities young people take part in and highlight the skills young people will gain. These guides support Leaders to engage with parents and encourage parents to get more involved with Scouting.
