We are now into the second week of this dramatically different way of life. I hope everyone is coping well and finding new ways of keeping in touch with friends plus doing the necessary school work!
As you all know a great many people are working really hard now looking after those who are sick and elderly plus many are workers supplying food and essential supplies – some of these will be your own family and friends.
Last Thursday I am sure many of you joined in showing your appreciation for the NHS workers by clapping. I am sure many will do the same this week.
As Scouts I would like us to say THANK YOU to all our Key Workers. Attached is a poster for you to colour in and put in your window to show how greateful we are for their help. Or maybe (some of our older members in particular) you would prefer to design your own version. It would be great if loads of these could go up to show how much we all appreciate them. Maybe you can try to count them if you are able to take a walk through the streets and get some exercise!
Please send me photos of your wonderful artwork as well – perhaps we can get some up on our website.
Well done Matt for showing your support.
Stay Safe, Stay Home and protect everyone.
