Larder Challenge

Our chef week turned out pretty well considering we only had a limited amount food in our scout pantry. We did this to simulate how the scouts used to cook back when scouting was in its infancy. We had a range of different recipes kindly provided. We then went up and collected a range of ingredients with some equipment. We then started to slave away at our stoves following the instructions as accurately as we could. In almost half of the recommended time on the recipes, we had managed to produce a healthy amount of food to feed the troop for the night. Some of our many dishes we had were Tuna pasta, gingerbread Biscuits, Chocolate chip cookies and Corn Beef Hash. Please enjoy the following pictures of our great cooking night.
